Fours Head Weekend

Despite the concerns that Storm Claudia may have cancelled the racing, it was a huge relief to see the inaugural Junior Fours Head and The Fours Head both happen!

The older juniors were in action on the Friday at the Junior Fours Head and it was great to be sending five crews to this new event. A huge well done to everyone who raced, especially the J16’s who came 4th and 7th in their events!

On the Saturday, it was the turn of James King racing in the GB Para Development quad at the Fours Head. The quad had an excellent race coming 26th in the club event (not bad for only a handful of outings as a crew). A huge well done to the crew, especially for James on his first Tideway experience.

Overall a great experience for the club. Congratulations and thanks to the Junior Fours Head team for putting on a great event, thanks as always to the parents and coaches and a special thanks to SL Racing / Cymba Rowing for the use of one of their SLR quads for the event.
