National Schools Regatta

Scorching weather, scorching racing, scorching results! Once again Leeds Rowing Club was out in force for National Schools Regatta, with our Junior Rowing Academy aiming to go up against the top domestic schools and clubs programmes in the UK.

The final results tally from the three days of racing at National Schools Regatta was:

  • 9 x A Finals including 2 x Bronze medals

  • 1 x B Final

  • 2 x C Finals

  • 2 x D Finals

A huge congratulations to everyone who raced, and yet again it was amazing to see the club on the medals pontoon with a Bronze medal in the Boys J15 1st 4x+ and Girls Championship 2-

The standard of racing at the National Schools Regatta was eyewatering, so to be on the podium for two events and in the A Finals for a further 7 events was a tremendous achievement for everyone.

A special thanks to all of the coaches and parents who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the juniors were fed, watered and kept in shelter.

  • B Finals - Boys J14 1st 8x+ B Final - 2nd

  • C Finals - Boys Champ 2- C Final - 3rd, Girls Champ 2- (Cole) C Final - 2nd

  • D Finals - Girls J14 4x+ D Final - 3rd, Girls J15 1st 4x+ D Final - 5th
