Medals galore at Bradford Sprint Regatta

What a day! Who needs posh big multi-lane regattas when you’ve got epic side by side sprint racing in a stunning setting. This is proper rowing!

We had a fantastic day at Bradford Sprint Regatta. The J14 and J15’s won loads, our women’s four were more excited about winning a tankard at Bradford than they were about pretty much the entire regatta season gone, the killer tree claimed no victims (Joe BB it’s just you), and we saw some really close side by side racing.

More than that it was just a good day out. Great for the club to reconnect with friends from neighbouring clubs, to enjoy some great hospitality upstairs in the club house, and to see some good rowing!

A huge thanks to Bradford Amateur Rowing Club for a great day of racing, a special thanks to Bradford Grammar School and St Peter’s School for loaning us equipment, and a big thanks to the coaches and to Ciaran for driving all the way back up from Henley to pick up the trailer.
